You may not want to eat a week before coming to Bath because let’s be honest some of the best places to eat are in Bath. Organic, fresh produce will be sure to fill you to the brim. Bath is lucky enough to have some of the finest Chef’s in the country at your fingertips so be sure to indulge wherever possible. With local produce sourced from our wonderful Somerset famers and growers nearby you will experience the very best cuisine of the West Country.

You can enjoy the magnificent views of this Georgian city whilst savouring the delights of excellent food and wines, impeccably served and enjoy your meal in beautiful surroundings.

Whether a Michelin star restaurant or small bistro’s Bath has it all. One place that you will definitely have to visit is the floating restaurant on the spectacular river Avon. To get through all these places you’ll need to stay for about three weeks, it wouldn’t be fair to leave any of them out. Your taste buds would be extremely disappointed I can tell you. Be sure to look at our guide to see where to start.

Bath has definitely become a must for food fanatics with a fantastic array of award winning eateries, Indian and Nepalese restaurants are amongst many of the Bath restaurants featured in The Good Food Guide. Whilst you’re shopping in the beautiful city or sightseeing why not pop in for tea at the pump room or have a leisurely lunch in one of Bath’s charming pubs.
